mysql server install ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ നല്കിയ പാസ്സ്‌വേര്‍ഡ് "root" എന്നു തന്നെയാണോ ? നിങ്ങളുടെ system password ആണ് കൊടുത്തതെങ്കില്‍ ഇങ്ങിനെ error msg വരും. Application -Accessories - Terminal തുറന്ന് sudo dpkg-reconfigure mysql-server-5.5 ഈ കമാന്റ് കോപ്പി പേസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു നോക്കുക. Terminal ലില്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ system password നല്കി അല്പ നേരം കാത്തിരിക്കുക. അപ്പോള്‍ mysql server ന്റെ password change ചെയ്യുവാനുള്ള ജാലകം തുറന്നുവരും..അതില്‍ root എന്ന് ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്യുക. repeat the password ഉം root എന്നു തന്നെ നല്കുക.....9496352140
